The author

Hi, I'm Eda

Arttrip is my travel diary turned magazine: I write about cultural travel and art history in the first person, one city, one museum and one artist at a time. If you love getting lost in a Baroque church, hunting down a hidden Caravaggio or planning a weekend around an exhibition, you are in the right place.

How I write these guides

Every article follows the same simple method:

  • Places I have actually visited. I write about what I saw myself, with the practical advice I wish I had found before going.
  • Checked facts. Dates, attributions and anecdotes are verified against authoritative sources (official museum websites, art-historical literature), and when a story is a legend I say so plainly.
  • Regular updates. Opening hours, prices and practical information are reviewed over time: updated articles say so in the title and show the date of the revision.

Some guides contain booking links to partners such as GetYourGuide: if you book through them, Arttrip earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. It is how this site sustains itself, and I only recommend experiences that match what I write about. All the details are on the privacy and affiliate disclosure page.

Safe travels, and enjoy the art!
