A hundred zebra finches live for two months inside a MAAT gallery, among twenty electric guitars that sound off when a bird lands on the strings. The idea isn't new, Boursier-Mougenot has toured it since 1995, but this is his first show in Portugal.

Ninety works pulled from the 2,450 pieces in the EDP Foundation's art collection, the Portuguese energy utility that has quietly bought contemporary art for two decades. Second half of a two-part project for MAAT's tenth anniversary, without a tight curatorial thread.
