The evening gowns of Ferdinando Sarmi, the Florentine tailor who dressed Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and the Duchess of Windsor in 1950s-60s New York, come out of storage with period accessories. A niche show of pieces normally kept hidden.

The fragment in sculpture, from Egypt, the Etruscans and Rome to today, by way of Giovanni Pisano, Michelangelo and Rodin, and of Louise Bourgeois, Robert Gober and Danh Vo. The 1966 Florence flood is there too, among the things that break a statue.

About twenty-five paintings by the Romanian painter Victor Man in the ground-floor rooms of the former Leopoldine, on piazza Santa Maria Novella. The route follows the themes he keeps returning to: motherhood, portrait and self-portrait, still life, the female figure.
